Woven into the Croatian Landscape
Croatian Landscape
Militza Kovacevic creates textile pieces in the same way her landscape creates color, slowly, intentionally, and without waste. Cotton and silk, salvaged from textile production, are dyed with plants collected from Croatian soil, and then real leaves and petals are printed on the fabric, pressed directly into the material. What is created cannot be repeated.

About Militza Kovačević

A Few Words
Militza Kovačević is a designer who creates at the intersection of nature and intuition. Shaped by a life between continents, her work is created through a slow, organic process in which plants, time and touch shape each piece. Nothing is forced, nothing is repeated, it is just revealed.
Discover the story behind her work

Handmade
Every piece is cut, sewn and finished in our Croatian studio, each step passing through one pair of hands.

Colored by nature
We don't use synthetic dyes. Our shades come from walnut shells, marigold petals, pomegranate bark, oak, and more.

Reuse
Our cotton and silk are made from recycled fabrics and materials that are given a new purpose.
HOW IT'S MADE

FROM COUNTRY TO STYLE
How Each Piece Is Made
Everything starts with picking. Walnut shells from Istria, fig leaves from the garden, marigolds from the fields and other indigenous species. The plants are pressed into the fabric, steamed and slowly work. When the fabric is finally unrolled, it carries within it something that no machine can make.

"I choose slowness over speed, intention over mass production, creativity over waste. Beauty comes when we work with nature, not against it."

Botanical printing workshops in Croatia
Militza runs workshops in botanical printing - a slow, hand-guided process in which fabric becomes a record of nature. They are open to individuals, groups and companies looking for something meaningful instead of the usual entertainment or teambuilding programs
